The Best Surf Spots in Imsouane

The Bay:

Famous for having one of the longest right-hand waves in Africa, The Bay is a paradise for longboarders and beginners. Its sheltered position means it provides clean, manageable waves perfect for learning and perfecting your style.

The Cathedral:

For more experienced surfers, Cathedral Point offers a more powerful reef-break. It works best on a bigger swell, providing faster, more challenging sections and even barrels for the skilled rider.

Weather and Surf Conditions

The best time for an Imsouane surf trip is from September to April when consistent Atlantic swells arrive. The local meteo Imsouane is generally mild, with sunny days even in winter. The wind is often offshore in the mornings, creating perfect, glassy conditions. Water temperatures vary, so a wetsuit is recommended year-round, which we provide with all lessons and rentals.
