1. Legal Information
“Swellora” or “we” refers to Swellora Surf Camp, a registered company in France.

“The client” or “you” refers to the person(s) booking or using the services provided by Swellora Surf Camp.
Swellora Surf Camp acts solely as a facilitator and is not an agency or provider of accommodation, activities, or transport. All bookings with local service providers are direct transactions between the client and the provider.
2. Travel Insurance & Liability
Insurance
It is a mandatory condition of your booking that you have comprehensive personal travel insurance, which must include civil liability coverage. Swellora Surf Camp disclaims all liability for accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during your stay, including during activities organized with local providers.
Your insurance must cover all activities you plan to undertake, including surfing and yoga. It must also cover medical expenses, emergency repatriation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal belongings. Proof of insurance may be requested upon arrival.
You confirm that you are in good health and physically fit to participate in surfing, yoga, and any other activity offered by Swellora Surf Camp. Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, allergies, or other factors affecting your ability to participate must be disclosed before or upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your needs during your stay.
You agree to follow all instructions given by instructors for your safety and that of others. Surfing and yoga involve inherent risks. You acknowledge that accidents can happen, and Swellora Surf Camp is not responsible for injuries, disabilities, or death that may occur.
It is the client’s responsibility to protect themselves from potential hazards, including sun exposure, dehydration, and other environmental risks. We advise drinking bottled water, applying sunscreen, wearing hats and sunglasses, and avoiding tap water.
Optional Insurance via Partner
Swellora Surf Camp offers, through its surf school partner, an optional insurance covering the most common risks:
- Equipment Insurance: €40/person
Covers potential damage to surfing and yoga equipment owned by Travel Surf Morocco. Minor damages are handled without additional cost.
Subscribing to this insurance does not exempt clients from their responsibilities. Proper use of equipment and adherence to safety instructions are mandatory. Swellora Surf Camp will provide guidance on equipment care and surf spot priority rules.
In case of non-subscription, intentional damage, or non-compliance with safety rules, Swellora Surf Camp reserves the right to request immediate payment or full reimbursement for any damages. Costs are determined based on local market prices and supplier assessments and are non-negotiable.
Liability
As a facilitator, Swellora Surf Camp is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, injuries, or breaches of contract occurring with third-party service providers (e.g., accommodation, transport, activity providers). Our liability is strictly limited to our role in facilitating and organizing your trip.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
Facilitation Deposit
To confirm your reservation, a 30% deposit of the total amount indicated is required to Swellora Surf Camp. This deposit corresponds exclusively to facilitation fees (organization, coordination, and booking assistance) and does not include the price of accommodation or activities.
Payment for accommodation and activities must be made directly to the respective providers. The reservation is confirmed once the provider receives payment.
This facilitation deposit is non-refundable, as it covers our planning and coordination work.
The remaining amount must be paid on arrival directly to providers in cash (Euros or equivalent in Moroccan Dirhams). ATM services are available locally, but no currency exchange office is on site.
Swellora Surf Camp will do its best to provide optimal surf conditions. However, we are not responsible for weather conditions. In rare cases where surfing is not possible, no refund will be given. Alternative activities (film screenings, games, excursions) may be offered.
4. Cancellation Policy
The facilitation deposit paid to Swellora Surf Camp is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
- Cancellation more than one month prior: deposit may be kept as a credit for a future stay within 6 months.
- Cancellation within one month: deposit is retained as facilitation fees.
Swellora Surf Camp does not handle accommodation or activity payments; refunds for these services are subject solely to the providers.
Misconduct, violence, or disrespect toward staff, guests, property, or equipment may result in immediate expulsion from the camp, at Swellora Surf Camp’s discretion. No refund of the facilitation deposit is guaranteed.
5. Reservation Modifications
Requests to modify booking details (dates, times, activities, packages) are subject to approval by Swellora Surf Camp and the respective provider. Any change may be subject to additional fees.
6. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at the camp and during activities. Swellora Surf Camp and its providers are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
Guests must respect local customs, culture, and the environment. Any inappropriate, illegal, or unsafe behavior may result in trip termination without refund.
Medical conditions or dietary requirements must be disclosed at booking. The nearest hospital is two hours away, so it is essential to report pre-existing health issues, allergies, or other concerns.
7. Data Protection
All data collected via our website is strictly used by Swellora Surf Camp and not shared with third parties. We will only use your information for booking purposes or to keep you informed of our services if you consent.
Our servers may track IP addresses and use anonymized statistics to improve our systems, monitor traffic, and optimize marketing. This information is never used for other purposes.
8. Photos & Media
Photos and videos taken during your stay may be used for promotional purposes without financial compensation. If you do not want your media to be used, please notify us upon booking confirmation.
